SOUTH BEND -- Margaret A. McIntyre , 73, of Dugdale Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an extended illness at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McIntyre was born May 5, 1931, in South Bend, and had resided in the Michiana area her lifetime. On June 3, 1949, in South Bend, as Margaret A. Rojics, she married Harry M. McIntyre Jr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1994. Margaret is survived by two loving daughters and two sons, Kathy L. (Edward) Kulczar of South Bend and Sheri L. (Robert) Peters of Dowagiac, Mich., Ronald A. (Cathy) McIntyre of South Bend and Rick A. (Michelle) McIntyre of Lakeville, Ind.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished; two sisters, Irene Hornyak of Decatur, Mich., and Betty Holton of Mishawaka, Ind.; and by a brother, George Rojics of Jacksonville, Fla. Mrs. McIntyre retired in 1992 as a private duty nurse. Margaret was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by her loving family as well as by all who knew her in her life journey.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 3, in the Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Nancy Cook officiating. Burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 53631 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530.
The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled the arrangements and service and extend deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the McIntyre family.
