SOUTH BEND - Dorothy Koszyk, 78, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, in her home. Dorothy was born February 6, 1931, in South Bend, to Joseph and Mary (Potocki) Bilski. She was a homemaker. On September 19, 1953, Dorothy married Joseph E. Koszyk, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2006. Surviving are her children, Cynthia (Pete) Carlson of Wisconsin, Brian (Karen) Koszyk of South Bend, Ronald (Kimberly) Koszyk of South Bend; grandchildren, Todd (Angela) Koszyk, Krystal (Jason) Milligan, Matthew Koszyk, Alicia Koszyk, Arielle Carlson; great-grandchildren, Owen Reidy, Parker Milligan, Isabella Milligan, Addison, Milligan, Seth Koszyk, Siri Koszyk; a sister, Helen Golubski of South Bend; a half sister, Theresa Strantz of South Bend; a brother, Ferdinand Bilski of South Bend and Florida; and a half brother, Robert Bilski of South Bend. A brother, Ted Bilski, preceded her in death. Funeral service for Dorothy will be held at noon, Tuesday, January 26, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where friends may call from 10 a.m. -noon prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
