SOUTH BEND - Barbara R. Bikowski, 77, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend. She was born on May 7, 1939, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Helen (Lodyga) Bikowski and was a lifelong area resident. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Roseann Lemert and a brother, John Bikowski. Barbara is survived by her nieces, Terri (Brian Rudlaff) Lemert and Sara (Tim) Hecklinski; nephews, Joe (Sherry) and Greg (Dawn) Bikowski; and by a sister-in-law, Judy Bikowsk; uncle, Stanley Bikowski and aunt, Sister Paulita. Ms. Bikowski was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus B.M. Catholic Church; she loved to get and give hugs. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the service.
