SOUTH BEND - Ruth M. Meuninck, 71, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Ruth was born on May 12, 1937, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Stella (Grochowalski) Papczynski. Also preceded her in death were a sister, Rita Buysse; and two brothers, Edward and Richard Papczynski. On August 6, 1960, in South Bend, Ruth married Ernest A Meuninck. He survives, along with a son, Michael (Karen) Meuninck of Granger; a granddaughter, Lindsey Meuninck of Granger; two sisters, Virginia Zaworski of South Bend and Loretta (Rudy) Harsanyi of South Bend; and a brother, Frank (Loretta) Papczynski of Sebring, FL. Ruth worked at Indiana University for 41 years. She was a member of Michiana Music for L.I.F.E. Club. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
