MISHAWAKA - Charlene A. Legus, 73, of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was born to the late John R. and Helen (Vida) Legus on April 19, 1945 in Gary, Indiana. Charlene retired from AJ Wright in South Bend. She enjoyed listening to the birds sing outside her window and spending time with her niece, April. She is preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Charlotte Williams; and brothers, John and Joseph Legus. Charlene is survived by her brothers, Andy (Cheri) Legus and Mike (Kathy) Legus both of Niles; and a sister, Sandra Nowastowski; along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles.
