SOUTH BEND- William J. Dorsch Jr., 60, passed away in the VA Medical Center, Indianapolis on Thursday, February 14. William was born on April 2, 1947 in South Bend as the son of William Joseph and Mary (Elek) Dorsch Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John M. Dorsch. On September 18, 1965 in South Bend he married the former Christine Ann Kapalczylnski. Surviving are his wife Christine; two sons, John (Cathy) Dorsch of South Bend and William J. (Martha) Dorsch III of Granger; five grandchildren, Meredith, Courtney, William IV, Gracen and Valerie. William was a truck driver with Quality Automotive in Mishawaka before he retired and a member of Teamsters. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 19 from 2 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka where Rev. Michael Heintz will have a service at 6:00 p.m. The family will stay and receive friends until 8:00 p.m.
