[N15124] Sitaniec is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zamość, within Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Zamość and 73 km (45 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.The village has a population of 1,600.

MISHAWAKA - Henry J. Flis, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana. Henry was born April 28, 1935 in Sitaniec, Poland to the late John and Melania (Klaudel) Flis. Henry is preceded in death by his brother, Thaddeus Flis. On October 22, 1966, in St. Adalberts Catholic Church, Henry married his loving wife of 50 years Mary (Skornog) Flis, she survives along with daughters, Elizabeth Flis of South Bend, and Barbara (Richard) Carrasco of Mishawaka; grandson, Hayden Carrasco; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Henry honorably served his country in the United States Army. He retired in 2000 from the University of Notre Dame where he was a lab technician for 45 years. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Mishwaka. Henry enjoyed reading history books, and he spoke 4 different languages fluently, always interested in learning other cultures. Henry also enjoyed coloring and decorating “Pisanki”, and fishing with his grandson whom was his “Superhero”. Henry was a true family man, passing tradition down to his family through stories. He was known for his great sense of humor. Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather for his family and will be greatly missed. Visitation for Henry is 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 7, 2016 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Monday, in St. Joseph Catholic Church-Mishawaka. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
