WALKERTON - Frances V. Fozo, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton. On November 1, 1952, in South Bend, Frances married Steve Fozo, who preceded her in death. Frances leaves behind her son, Robert (Sandy) Wacunas of South Bend; stepson, Roy Fozo of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Garry (Jill) Chadwell, Pam (Dave) Myers, Linda (Dave) Weist, Michele (Monty) Layne and Dwayne Wacunas; fourteen great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Frances retired from Torrington. She was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and bingo. She belonged to PNA Nation, American Legion Post 284 and the St. Joe Club. Visitation is 4-8 pm on Monday, April 27, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Rd., South Bend. A Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Hospice or to any Animal Care Shelter as she was an animal lover. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
