Paul H. Hinsey, age 71, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 after a brief illness. Paul was born on September 20, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana, to William and Mary (Lacopo) Hinsey. Paul graduated from Brandywine Community Schools, then earned his degree in machine tool technology from Ivy Tech Community College. Paul retired in 2010 from Jessen Manufacturing, in Elkhart, with more than 34 years of service. Paul is survived by his mother, Mary Hinsey; brothers Mark, Dennis (Marcy), Gregg (Jenny), nieces Ashley,Amanda,Grace and Emma. He was preceded in death by his father, William and brother, Charles. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting northern Michigan in the summers. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date.
