SOUTH BEND - Mary Lou Krusinski, 84, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:58 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 27, 1931, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Richard and Velma (Compton) Kersh. On June 3, 1951, in North Liberty, IN, she was united in marriage to Robert A. Krusinski Sr. Mrs. Krusinski is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Robert A. Krusinski Sr.; her children, Linda (John) Goodspeed of South Bend, IN, Robert A. Krusinski Jr. of West Lafayette, IN, and Debbie Goffinet of South Bend, IN; seven grandchildren, Holly (Scott) Swartz, Heather (Barry) Dickirson, Byron Goodspeed, Brishen Vanderkolk, Nathan (Danielle) Goffinet, Meri Goffinet and Adam (Carin) Goffinet; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Heim of South Bend, IN; and brother, Richard Kersh, Jr. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Albert Goffinet, and sister, Illene Burnham. Mrs. Krusinski was a lifelong resident. She was co-owner and operator of Bob's Repair Service in South Bend. She attended Maple Grove United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star in North Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 22019 New Road, South Bend, IN. Pastor Sue Irwin will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN, and one hour prior to the services at church Wednesday. Contributions in memory of Mary Lou Krusinski may be offered to the Parkinson's Association, 10936 Greshan Place, Indianapolis, IN 46060.
