MISHAWAKA - Esther Mae Vida, 86, residing in Mishawaka, IN, passed away in her home on Friday, February 14, 2014. She was born October 1, 1927 in Bremen, IN, a daughter of John & Hazel (Mentzel) Kryski. Esther lived in Lakeville, IN from 1960 -1990, when she moved to Mishawaka where she resided the remained of her life. On November 3, 1954 in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Alexander Vida. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1988. She was also preceded by two sisters, Lulu Belle Norris, and Nancy Jane Burks, and four brothers, Eugene Dale Kryski, Ray Nelson Kryski, Jerry David Kryski and Robert Joseph Kryski. She is survived by her very special friends, and adopted son, Bernard & Lori Kring of North Liberty, IN, and grandchildren, Stephen, Rebekah, Eric, Amanda and Cody Kring, and great granddaughter, Makenzie. Esther retired from Curtis Products in June of 1995 following 28 years of service. She was a member of Harvest House at Holy Cross Church, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka.
