Mishawaka-William H. 'Bill' DuBois 81, passed away on Saturday, October 22 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Bill was born on July 17, 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana to William and Clara (Hilbish) DuBois. Both are deceased. Bill graduated from South Bend Central High School and Wabash College. On September 2, 1956 in Hartford City, Indiana he married the former Mary Ellen Stroble. She survives along with two sons, Kent William (Darlen) DuBois of Signal Mountain, Tennessee and Mark William (Beth) DuBois of Cincinnati, Ohio. There are six grandchildren, Jason, Hannah, Lydia and Caleb DuBois all of Signal Mountain, TN and Steven and David DuBois of Cincinnati, OH. For 53 years Bill owned and operated DuBois Importing Company, as wholesaler of advertising specialties and business gifts. Bill was a member of the Mishawaka Kiwanis Club, South Bend Elks and the International Brotherhood of Magicians. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 51900 Mayflower Rd, South Bend, at 11 a.m. Presiding will be the Rev. Timothy Knauff. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial gifts be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for the ELCA World Hunger and Disaster relief fund or to a charity of one's choice.
