SOUTH BEND, IN - Fela (Phyllis) Szymkowicz, formerly of South Bend, passed away on February 3. She was born on May 3, 1928, in Krzepice, Poland. Mrs. Szymkowicz was a Holocaust survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and her husband, Wolf Szymkowicz She is survived by her children, Marvin Szymkowicz (Chevy Chase, MD), Ruth Allon (Oak Park, MI), Michael Szymkowicz (Chesterfield, MO), as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
