GRANGER, IN - Dennis Anthony “Denny” Jusko, 76, passed away peacefully in his home December 31, 2020, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's. Born August 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Fred and Ann (Wido) Jusko. On September 23, 1972, Denny married the love of his life, Laura Jean Somerstorfer. She survives him. To their union, they were blessed with two children, Heather (Doug) Juenemann of Minnesota and Joshua (Beth) Jusko of South Bend. Also left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Susan McAloon of Lombard, IL and Marilyn Stanger of Clarksville, TN; and six grandchildren: Gabriel, Jericho, Jordan and Avigayil Juenemann, and Stephan and Alex Jusko. Denny was a loving, caring and devoted husband and father, and a people person who never met a stranger. He was an HVAC pipefitter for Local 597, out of Chicago. Dennis was owner and operator of Wedgewood Park Water Company in South Bend IN. He was active with St. Pius Catholic Church, where he belonged to the men's group. He was a proud Army Veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan 6 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior in the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. The Mass will be live streamed at St.Pius.net or facebook.com/StPiusGranger. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
