SOUTH BEND - Catherine J. Cenkush, 94, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle, IN. She was born on September 7, 1915 in South Bend, IN to Herman and Elizabeth (Rochon) Price and was a lifelong resident. On May 27, 1936 in South Bend, IN she married Paul R. Cenkush, who preceded her in death on September 2, 1999. Mrs. Cenkush is survived by her daughter, Lynne Ann (Richard) Ward of Estes Park, CO; seven grandchildren, Patrick Allen Cenkush, Karen O'Neal, Kenneth McManus, William McManus, Donna Lentz, Richard McManus and Susan York; and thirteen great grandchildren. Her son, Patrick Allen Cenkush on May 24, 2009; her sister, Janice Warren and two brothers, James Price and Donald Price all preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of services on Friday in the funeral home.
