Oct. 26, 1927 - May 12, 2013 LAFAYETTE - Rosabelle A. (Kuehn) Erdes, 85, of Lafayette, IN, a former resident of South Bend, passed away at IU Health Arnett Hospital at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013. Born October 26, 1927, in Stillwater, MN, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Gertrude (Jahnke) Kuehn. Her marriage was to Frank Erdes on March 1, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, and he preceded her in death in 1984. Rosabelle was a longtime employee of Ball Band-Uniroyal in Mishawaka. She was of the Catholic faith, and she enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. Surviving are her son, William "Bill" Erdes (wife, Nancy) of Lafayette; two sisters, four brothers; seven grandchildren, Tina Monroe, Tony Erdes, Tamara Reed, Patrick Erdes, Shane Erdes, Chris Hinshaw, Jennifer Evans; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerald David "Big Jer" Erdes, and two brothers. Private interment services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN.
