South Bend - Jean Joan Wachowiak, 91, passed away on Friday in her home. Jean was born August 12, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Alex and Carrie Jablonski Vargo. Jean is also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wachowiak. Jean is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Joe) Hurstel of Mishawaka, IN.
