Pearl L. Koczwara, 88, of Granger, IN., passed away at 12:18 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at The Village of Arborwood. Pearl was born on November 1, 1934 in Mosquito, IL to Marion and Eva (Moore) Davis. On June 16, 1953 in Pontiac, MI as Pearl l. Davis she married Walter Koczwara. Walter preceded Pearl in death on November 27, 2008. Pearl was also preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Arthur) Schroeder of Mishawaka, her three grandsons, Michael Schroeder, Jim (Megan) Schroeder and Mark Schroeder and one great granddaughter, Eloise Schroeder. Also, her brother in law, Charles Wren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation for Pearl will be on Thursday, December 1, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 2, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger with one hour of visitation prior to the Mass. Msgr. William C. Schooler will officiate with burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
