Rachel Secor, 68, of New Carlisle, Indiana, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully at 2 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015 in her home. She was born on November 24, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to Edward and Stella (Stastavniak) Marcowka. Rachel was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary Club for the American Legion Post 297, New Carlisle. She enjoyed going to Four Winds Casino with her husband, but she especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. On November 25, 1967, in Chicago, IL, she married Frank D. Secor, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Laura (Andrew) Perez of Nashville, TN, Frank Secor of Chicago, IL, and Rebecca McKay of Palos Heights, IL; three siblings, Anita Howell of Hometown, IL, Ed (Fran) Marcowka of Mount Vernon, IL, and Sharon Daling of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Kate, Frankie, Stephanie, John, Gabrielle, and Luke; two great grandchildren, Bailey and Landon; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
