SOUTH BEND - Patricia J. Plank, 90, of South Bend, died Thursday March 11, 2021 at Southfield Village in South Bend. She was born December 8, 1930 in South bend, Indiana to Fred and Irene (Stephens) Blain. She married Robert P. Plank on December 10, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2015. Surviving are 4 sons Michael P. (Lynn) Plank of Elkhart, Greg (Cindy) Plank of South Bend, Ken Plank of Shavehead Lake, MI, Doug (Eppie) Plank of South Bend; 4 grandchildren; Chris (Julie) Plank, Amber Plank, Leah (Andrew Hershberger) Plank, Layna (Arron) Johnson, 6 great-grandchildren; Lauren, Evan, Aniyah, Amira, Derrick Jr., and Alaya and a brother Rich (Kathy) Blain of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Plank, 1 brother and 1 sister. Patricia graduated in 1948 from Riley High School in South Bend. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed playing pinochle Cremation will take place and entombment will be private at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place Mishawaka, IN 46545. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
