As per his certificate of birth he was born Salamon Strykul, to Joseph Strykul and Anna Bancer, note same certificate has her as Ana Boraj... Her name changed through many forms as she Americanized her name. Sam was married 26 Sep 1939 to Mary Evelyn McCuen in St Joseph County, Indiana, USA *Sincere thanks to Jack for the creation of this memorial and the photos of the gravesite.
