Georgiana M. Zawlocki, 91, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020, in Wellbrooke of South Bend. Georgiana was born on February 22, 1929 in South Bend to Ignatius and Helen (Mroczkiewicz) Wroblewski and was a lifelong resident. On June 17, 1950, she married Richard E. Zawlocki, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Delphine Szymanski; and two brothers, Ernest and Robert Wroblewski. Georgianna is survived by four daughters, Maureen (Nicholas) Pomato of Frederick, Maryland, Karen Rose of Indianola, Washington, Patricia (John) Ray of Granger, Indiana and Christine Zawlocki of Connecticut; three sons, Richard (Joan) Zawlocki of Sefner, Florida, James Zawlocki of Chantilly, Virginia and Donald (Debra) Zawlocki of Aberdeen, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, Nicholas (Becky) Pomato, Rachael Pomato, Noah (Colleen) Pomato, Ryan (Cathleen) Pomato, Russell Rose, Alexandria Rose, Sara (Jason Gollnick) Ray, Amber (Justin Smith) Ray, Jennifer (Robert Teters) Ray, John Ray, Sebastian Zawlocki, John Zawlocki, Emily Zawlocki, Ellen Zawlocki and Daniel (Alison) Zawlocki; and six great-grandchildren, Micah, Cole and Finn Gollnick, Mya Pomato, Riddick Pomato, and Amelia Teters. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Georgiana was a 1946 graduate of Central High School. She was a member of Christ the King Parish. She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge. Georgiana and Richard raised seven children together. Georgiana was a warm and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very proud that she was able to be a homemaker and nurture her family. She was especially loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family.
