The federal census records of South Bend, St Joseph County, Indiana indicate that Anthony Kopczynski and Mary Wrzeszcz, both came from Poland circa 1880. They married on Nov. 4, 1890 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend. He was the son of Anthony & Frances Kopczynski. The census records indicate that Mary had six or seven children, three of whom lived to maturity, Anthony Jr., Stanislawa/Stella, and Henry.
