Denise "D" K. (Baker) Buczek, 65, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Denise "D" Baker was born December 15, 1955, to the late Ira and Hilda Robinson Baker. Denise married Edward Buczek, who preceded her in death. Left to cherish the memory of “D” is her Significant Other, Dale Ward; step-son Cole D Ward; grandsons Cole Ward, Jr. & Hayden Ward; brother Charles (Judy) Baker; close friends, Amy Rhodes and Sherri Bowers; sister-in-law Charlene Ward; niece Roni Klaub; nephew Randy Klaub; great-nieces McKenzie & Ava Klaub. "D" was most recently employed at Eby’s Old Fashion Meat Market and retired from Martin's Super Market. She was a past member of the American Legion Post 189 in Walkerton. “D” enjoyed gardening and getting her fingers in the dirt, loved her Koi Pond, her dog Daisy and cats Stinker and Tweety. She was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and also enjoyed watching college and NFL football as well as NASCAR! “D” was a master at Stained Glass. She loved to cook and bake for family. “D” was always a hard worker and was well-liked by her friends and co-workers. She enjoyed antiquing, trucking, and Harley riding with Dale! She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh! Visitation for Denise “D” will be 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 11:00 on Monday, December 6, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
