Joseph was the son of John Takacs and Elizabeth Galambos of Eperjeske, Szabolcs County, Hungary. John died in South Bend in 1940 and Elizabeth in South Bend in 1964. John was born 2 Feb 1872; elizabeth was born 19 Nov 1887.
