On 5 Jun 1948 in South Bend he married the former Evelyn Slott who survives, with a duaghter Constance M Borkowski of Crown Point IN; a son, John R of So Bend; a grandchild; two sisters, Mrs Adeline nemeth and Ms Dolores Borkowski, both of So Bend and his mother, Mrs Louise Borkowski of So Bend also.
