70th Wedding Anniversary
Bernard and Shirley of South Bend happily celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last week. Bernard and Shirley Myers were married October 21,1950, in Holy Cross Catholic Church. They have three children, Debra (James) Kruger, Dawn Waggoner and Bruce (Mary) Waggoner. They have also been blessed with 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren plus another due in February. After 50 years with Operating Engineers Local 150, Bernard retired from Reith Riley in 1992 as an equipment operator. Bernard and Shirley have lived in South Bend all their lives. We love them dearly and want to thank them for always being such a great example of love and Commitment to each other. Cheers to many more years together Bernie & Shirley.
