David J. Jasicki, 78, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in West Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation. David was born on October 14, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana to Joseph F. and Esther J. (Kaminski) Jasicki. He retired from the South Bend Fire Department, where he served as a firefighter for 30 years. David is survived by nine cousins, Victoria (Robert) Murphy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Linda (Richard) Zandler of Baltimore, Maryland, Evelyne (Thomas) Layton of Raleigh, North Carolina, Dr. Joanie (Dr. John) Williams of Yadkinville, North Carolina, Joseph (Sharon) Costa of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, Paul (Sherri) Reback of North Palm Beach, Florida, Jeffrey (Julie) of Maricopa, Arizona, John (Renee) Reback of Blooming Grove, Wisconsin and Rebecca (Mack) Gaither of Leesburg, Virginia. David was preceded in death by his cousin, Particia Reback. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, where members of the United States Army will conduct military services. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the church. David was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. He served in the United States Army from 1963 - 1969 in Germany.
