SOUTH BEND, IN - James Arthur Pinkowski, 89, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Memorial Hospital. James was born June 11, 1929 in South Bend to the late Nick and Agnes (Tobalski) Pinkowski. James was also preceded in death by his wife Marilyn on February 15, 2014., Joshua, Dawn, and Brandon; and two great-grandchildren, Damon and Dylan. James was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many He is survived by one daughter, Lori (Chris) Baker of Petaluma, California; one son, David (Kelly Shinall) Pinkowski of Granger, Indiana; three grandchildren years as a draftsmen at the Bendix Corporation. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN on Saturday, December 15 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.
