Tony Eugene Nania, Sr., 74, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was born June 15, 1947 in Springfield, IL to the late Pansy and Jack Nania. On November 21, 1992, Tony married Linda Godsey at the conservation club in Buchanan. He worked at Buchanan Steel, Clark Equipment, and Federal Mogul until his retirement. Tony is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Tony E. (Heather) Nania Jr, Eric (Lesa) Thompson, Philip (Karen) Thompson; daughters, Carrie (Don) Houseman, April (Buddy) Wiltshire, Cora-lee (Shannon) Mervine; sister, Donna (John) Farkas; 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pansy and Jack, and sister, Jo Ann England.Funeral service for Tony will be held at 1 pm on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will begin at 11 am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Memorial donations may be made in Tony’s memory to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W.
