MRS. AUGUSTA LAMBKA

Mrs. Augusta Lambka, 78, wife of Christ Lambka, died at 8 o'clock this morning at their home on Pleasant Plain avenue south of Hively avenue. She had been bedfast two weeks, ill from complications. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hieden, Mrs. Lambka was born in Germany, April 5, 1858. Fifty-four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lambka came to America and direct to Elkhart.
Surviving beside the husband are the following children: Mrs. Lon Mowery of Los Angeles, Mrs. Harry Swartz of Elkhart, Mrs. Edwin Sohm of Cleveland and Fred Lambka, who also lives on Pleasant Plain avenue. There are six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William Drier of Chicago. Mrs. Lambka was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church.
