Mishawaka-Allen D. Grabowski, 48, passed away on Wednesday, April 2 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Allen was born on March 30, 1966 in Benton Harbor, MI. On August 29, 1997 in Mishawaka he married Rita Willits. Surviving are his wife Rita; children, Jacob, Dylan (Tiffany) and Amber; sister, Dawn (Rodney) Young of South Bend; mother and father, Judy and Al Ballinger of Benton Harbor, MI and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Allen was employed by TK Steel in Elkhart for several years and it was his favorite place to be, he loved his job and fellow employees. He enjoyed just being with his family and listing to music and relaxing at home. Visitation for Allen will be on Saturday, April 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. James Dunn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with final expenses.
