He lived at 21044 Lincoln Way West, & was a retired contractor & owner of Abel Trucking Co. Moved to South Bend in 1955 from Michigan City IN. Services at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, buried St Joseph Cemetery. In 1934 in Chicago IL, mar HELEN ROZYCKI, who survives. Children: Mrs. Arlene Huston of Dallas TX, Mrs. Cynthia Gardini, Mary Abel, Donald E Abel of Davenport IA, Thomas E and Bruce E Able of South Bend. Also a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth DeFreeze of Galien, MI.
