Wendy Liddle-Lupresto
May 20, 1961 - Oct. 22, 2018
SOUTH BEND, IN - Wendy passed away in her home on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 57. Preceding her are her parents, Judith Liddle (Weselman) and Boyd Liddle. Rocco and Wendy were married on April 13, 1994 in their home in South Bend IN, with many family and friends attending. Rocco retired from AM General after 30 years of service and Wendy was an Indiana University Of South Bend graduate with a Bachelor's Degree BA.AB.BS. Before receiving her degree, Wendy spent the majority of her career in the food industry where she held many titles. She leaves behind to cherrish her memory her husband, Rocco Lupresto Jr. of South Bend, IN; a sister, Alissa, Jeff (Hall) and nephew, Evan of Cicero, IN; a brother, Don Liddle and husband, Mark of San Gabriel, CA; and her stepson, Josh (Kenna) Lupresto of Eagle Mt., Utah and their three children, Bridger, Kinsley, and Brielle (she was called Grandma Wendy when we all gathered together), and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews throughout. Wendy was a very caring and giving person with a huge heart, and was always willing to put others' needs before hers. She also was a superb cook, avid reader, loved to garden and be outside, enjoyed crocheting and gave some of those blankets away to staff during hospital stays. Anyone who met Wendy will tell you she had a great spirt and contagious smile. It was Wendy's wish to donate her remains to Indiana University Anatomical Education Program in Indy for research. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please make a donation to the American Cancer Society, or church of your choice. We would like to thank Heartland Hospice for all their support and friendship. Services will be at Zion United Church of Christ, 211 S. St. Peter Street, South Bend, IN 46617 on Nov. 3, 2018. Family will receive visitation from 11-12, with church service to begin at 12:00, and there will be food after the service. Published in South Bend Tribune on Oct. 28, 2018
