Mrs. Mary Anna Kuspa, 92, who lived with her dauther, Mrs. Kathryn Hojara, 54500 Sage, New Carlisle, died at 7:28 p.m. Saturday in the home after a weeks illness. Mrs. Kuspa was a farmer. Born on March 2, 1882, in Poznan, Poland, she had lived here 85 years, coming from Poland. On Nov. 8, 1904, as Mary Anna Wojtysiak, she married Stanley Kuspa, who died in 1954. Surviving besides the daughter are a son, George of North Liberty; another daughter, Mrs. Cecelia Grywczynski of Seattle, Wash.; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee. Rev. Thaddeus Kwak, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today in the St Joseph Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mrs. Kuspa also was a member of Unit 126, Mothers of World War II, and was a Gold Star Mother.
