Adolph Dutrieux, 86, of 611 N Studebaker St., died at 5pm Monday in St Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on November 9, 1879, in France. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Emma Jankowski of Buhl ID, Mrs Majorie Smith and Mrs. Louise Meuleman, both of South Bend; four sons, Leo, J. C., Marion and John, all of South Bend; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, A.J. Dutrieux, of South Bend.
He was a charter member of the St Vincent DePaul Society and a member of the Bendix Retiree Assn. His wife, Mary, died on March 1, 1959. Services will be at 10am Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on W. Thomas St., of which he was a member, and burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Meuleman, Thomas, Michael, William, Joseph and David Dutrieux and Wayne Smith, all grandsons. Friends may call after 7pm today at the Hickey Funeral Home.
