JoAnn Lerch, 96, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Country Care West. JoAnn was born January 5, 1926 in South Bend to the late Burton N. and Erma (Kline) Sutherland. JoAnn married her loving husband, Robert Lerch, who preceded her in death on October 29, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Burton Sutherland, and Dick (Patricia) Sutherland. Left to cherish the memory of JoAnn is her daughter, Judy (David) Theuerl; granddaughter, Jessica (Benjamin) Krucina; and, several nieces & nephews. JoAnn was a long-time member of Saint Jude Catholic Church. When JoAnn was younger, she loved to sew and knit. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends all over the world. She loved spending time with her daughter Judy and granddaughter Jess. JoAnn enjoyed nature especially on road trips and spending time at Gravel Lake. Most of all she cherished time with her family. The family would like to especially thank Bob and Vel at Country Care West for taking loving care of our dear mother for the past few years.
