SOUTH BEND - Cynthia Annette Kedik-Batson, 69, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Cindy was born March 27, 1948 in Mishawka. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Irene Debaets; husband, Bruce Batson; and a brother, Kirk Golden.

Survivors of Cindy include her children, Robert Kedik Jr., Richard Kedik, Ronnie (Toni) Kedik, Rusty (Corkie) Kedik, and Rick (Jennifer) Kedik; husband of 40 years and children's father, Robert Kedik Sr.; grandchildren, Corey (Heather) Wickizer, Joey, Ryan (Arianna), Travis, Matt (Danielle), Dakota, Gabrielle, and Stephanie (Cristina) Kedik; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Paulette Butler; and brothers, Chris (Michelle) Debaets, and Larry (Karen) Debaets.

Cindy was a member of the Chain O Lakes Conservation Club. She enjoyed singing, Karaoke, dancing, country rides, and spending time at the beach with her family and friends. Cindy was mom to everyone; her home was open to all. She enjoyed cooking big meals for everyone (large shelled mac & cheese specialist). Cindy lived her life with no fear or boundaries; it would not surprise family to see her jump on a motorcycle and take off. She was a very supportive mother to 5 boys throughout their many different hobbies and activities. Visitation for Cindy will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
