PERU - Donna Ann DuBois, 83, of Peru, passed away on Saturday afternoon in her residence in the company of her loving family. Donna was born in Sullivan, Indiana on January 2, 1938 to Herman and Blanche (Worth) Coleman. Donna worked as a nurse, serving as a traveling nurse for a time, and in many care facilities throughout her career. She married the love of her life, Paul DuBois, in South Bend, Indiana on September 8, 1956. She enjoyed sewing, doing needle point, collecting salt and pepper shakers and dolls. Donna and Paul enjoyed square dancing and traveling, yet her greatest joy came from being with her family. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Paul, their children, Paul Eugene (Avelina) DuBois of Goshen and Cheryl Ann (Doc) Milliken of South Bend. She was the proud grandmother of Matthew P. (Jessica) Villa; Adam Robert Villa, Justin Ryan Villa, Ryan C. DuBois, Jason R. Dubois and Issac Kristopher DuBois, and great grandmother to Nolan and Reagan. She is also survived by siblings, Harold (Beverly) Coleman of Mishawaka, James (Linda) Coleman of Niles, Michigan, Carol Swindle and Richard Coleman both of South Bend along with sister-in-law, Bea Coleman, and brother-in-law, Kaye (Dawn) DuBois. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Clyde in 1977, and siblings, Charles, Phyllis Nelson, Maxine Nelson, Bernice Wiley. Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 8:00pm Thursday, March 25th in the Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, 23421 State Rd. 23, and one hour prior to the service. A service celebrating Donna's life will be held in the funeral chapel at 11:00am on Friday, March 26th with Pastor Jason Bowyer officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery of South Bend. The Hanley family wishes to express their heartfelt condolences to all of Donna's Family.
