SUN CITY WEST, AZ - Virginia Sikorski, 80, formerly of South Bend, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Sun City West, AZ, where she resided for the past 16 years. Virginia was born on October 7, 1937 in South Bend to Frank Sr. and Gertrude (Osmanski) Sikorski. Her parents and brother, Frank Jr. Sikorski preceded her in death. Survivors are a sister-in-law, Dolores; nephew, Ronald (Patti) Sikorski; and a niece, Barbara Eaton. Also surviving are Danielle Eaton, Ashley Eaton, Emma Richards, and Jaxson Roach. Virginia worked at Tower Federal Savings and Loan and then retired from AM General. After retirement she moved to Sun City West, AZ. She was an avid hiker and loved to travel. Virginia was a very active member of the St. Elizabeth Seton Church, the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Sun City West, AZ, as well as the St. Vincent DePaul Society in South Bend, IN. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm, where a brief Memorial Service will be held for family and friends in the cemetery chapel.
