SOUTH BEND - Lorraine M. Donovan, 89, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, in the Golden Living Center. Lorraine was born July 31, 1926, in Detroit, MI, to the late Frances and Bertha (Rybicki) Stepanek. On August 3, 1962, in St. Joseph, Michigan, Lorraine married Joseph Donovan, who preceded her in death. Lorraine was also preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Mroz, a daughter, Sandra Ciesiolka, granddaughters, Becky and Wendy, and a brother, Robert Stepanek. Survivors of Lorraine include her children, Melanie Cauffman of South Bend, and Tom (Kay) Mroz of Mishawaka, Gary Mroz of South Bend, James Donovan of South Bend, Gayle (Dave) Herman of Las Vegas, NV, Beth Ann (Dave) Bergeron of South Bend, and Pat Donovan of South Bend; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was a parishioner of Holy Family Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching TV. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. A Memorial Service will be held for Lorraine at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 1701 N.
