Beatrice Fardulis, 85, of Troon Ct., Elkhart, passed away at 9:30am on Friday, March 1st, at Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, following an illness. She was born in Boston, Mass. On June 1st, 1927 to Frank and Rose (Blanda) DiGirolamo, who preceded her in death. She was the beloved grandmother to three grandchildren: Stephanie Frazier, Jonathan Tucker and Vickie Spencer. Four great grandchildren: Hank Spencer, Donnie Spencer, Jared Tucker and Hayley Tucker. One brother, Joseph DiGirolamo and a sister, Rosemary DePastine. Also surviving is her son-in-law, Tom Tucker and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecelia A Tucker in 2004 and a brother, Carmelo DiGirolamo in 2003. Beatrice was employed by Associates, South Bend and later at LaSalle - Dietch as an Accountant until her retirement in 1988 after many years of service. She graduated from Mishawaka High School with honors. She loved watching sports on TV and cooking large Italian meals for her family. A memorial service will be held for Beatrice at 6:00pm on Wednesday at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka where friends will be received from 4:00pm until the time of the service Wednesday.
