Age 75 of 938 Beale, died at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a former Sudebaker Corp. employee and was retired from the South Bend Waste Water Treatment Plant. Services at 10:30 a.m. in the Memorial Presbyterian Church; burial in Highland Cemetery. On 22 Feb 1941 in South Bend he married Elizabeth Chillag who survives; Also surviving are a sister Mrs. Mary Hans of South Bend and 3 brothers; William, Joseph and Edward, all of South Bend.
