MISHAWAKA - Ross Ziemendorf, 85, passed away at Elkhart Hospice House on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Ross was born on March 17, 1932 in Plymouth, IN. On January 26, 1957 in St. Michael and all Angels Episcopal Church, South Bend he married HoneyLou Andersen, who preceded him in death on October 31, 2008 after 51 years together. Ross is survived by his daughter, Renee (Kenneth) Kinzie of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Brent (Melissa) Watson of Mishawaka and Kellie Crane of Mishawaka; and five great-grandchildren, Danielle Watson, Marcos Crane, Jose Crane, Mateo Crane, and Kyley Macik. Ross served our county honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of VFW Post 360 and Club 15. Ross retired from Uniroyal after serving 38 years as a member of their quality control. Graveside services at 1 PM Tuesday, February 20, 2018 will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum chapel. Contributions may be made in Ross's name to the Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunny Brook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637.
