To my best friend,My time with you made for a beautiful life full of love, happiness, and memories I will cherish in my heart forever. Anyone who knew you, knows what an amazing woman you were. You were always positive and rarely angry, always willing to give a helping hand, and my favorites: always so full of love to give and faith so strong that it never wavered. All of those make up only a portion of what a beautiful person you were, but are what I will miss most. But, I see now, even with you gone, you and especially your love, remains. I feel it in your son and your daughter. I feel it when anyone brings up your name. And most of all, I feel it in me, Grandma, you left me with your gift of love and I could not be more grateful, I promise to use it well and make you proud, Grandma. I love you with all my heart. “Zlato pile” Published in South Bend Tribune on Feb. 8, 2016
