Thomas Leon Wesolek

Thomas Leon Wesolek, aged 64, of North Liberty, this county, and a former South Bend resident, died at 7:15pm Sunday in the Wabash Railroad employees hospital, Peru IN, after an illness of nine months. Born in North Manchester IN, July 28, 1882, he had lived in South Bend for 12 years in his youth prior to moving to North Liberty. He was the son of Mr & Mrs Ignatius & Mary Wesolek, both deceased. His wife, Anna, nee Romsicki, died 28 years ago. Surviving are four children, Edward and John Wesolek and Mrs. Rita Hagy, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Bernadine Singleton, of North Liberty; tow brothers, Jacob Wesolek, of North Liberty, and William, of Battle Creek MI; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Oakes, of Ege IN and Miss Constance Wesolek, of North Liberty and six grandchildren. Friends may call in the Kaniewski & Son Chapel after 6pm today. The funeral will be held at 9:30 am Wednesday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
