Jelena Suka, 93, passed away at 9:30am Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Bell Tower Health & Rehab. Jelena was born on June 8, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Matthew and Mila Roknich. They both preceded her in death along with her husband Very Rev. Vladimir Suka, a grandchild a brother Joseph Roknich, and son-in-law Thomas McGuin. Surviving are a daughter Michelle McGuin of Osceola, two sons Milan (Sheila) Suka of Worthington, OH and Robert (Shelley) Suka of Butner, NC, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a brother Milan Roknich of Chicago. Funeral services will be celebrated at 12:00pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 11:00am until services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions May be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
