Donald C. Sramek, 55, of Windover Lane, Granger, Ind., died of kidney cancer Friday afternoon, Dec. 14, 2001 in Hospice House of St. Joseph County. Donald was applications engineer with C & E Sales of Dayton, Ohio. He was born Oct. 20, 1946, in LaPorte, Ind., to Raymond and Mildred (Skibbe) Sramek of South Bend, who survive. Donald was a 1965 LaPorte High School graduate, and he graduated from Indiana University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, and St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his two children, especially fishing and computer games. His hobbies included genealogy and model trains.
