SOUTH BEND - Henry L. Sparazynski, 76, of Eisenhower Avenue, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in his home after an illness. Mr. Sparazynski retired in 1986 from AM General Corp.

He was born July 19, 1919, in South Bend. On Nov. 23, 1961, in South Bend, he married Mary L. Krzyzewski. She survives with two sons, James Krzyzewski and John Krzyzewski, both of South Bend; five grandchildren; a sister, Irene Mucha of South Bend; and a brother, Stanley of South Bend. He was a member of St. Joseph Young Men's Society and Holy Name Society of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, and was a charter member of Achievement Forum.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 6 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. rosary will be said by the Achievement Forum. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or Visiting Nurses Association.
