MISHAWAKA - Josephine D. Signorino, 91, passed away at home on Thursday, October 3. Josephine was born on March 19, 1922 in Chicago, IL as the daughter of Nicholas and Concetta Antonelli. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Matthew Signorino; sister, Carmen Nelund and a brother, Louie Antonelli. On February 2, 1942 in Great Lakes, IL she married Joseph Signorino who preceded her in death on June 25, 1997. Surviving are four sons, Steven (Marcie) Signorino of Mishawaka, Joseph Signorino of Zanesville, OH, Paul (Cyndy) Signorino of Soldotna, AK and John (Ann) Signorino of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Leah, Daniel, Dustin, Patricia, Jeffery and Amireah; 11 great grandchildren, Ryker, Crystal, Matthew, Jacob, Colton, Victoria, Janetta, Aryana, Elesha, Kailen and Alexah; two sisters, Sanita (Remo) Giannini and Marguerite Stoller, both of Albuquerque, NM; and a brother, Leonard (Hilda) Antonelli of Elkhart. Josephine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka and the DeAmicis Club. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice Foundation or St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
